Fisherman’s Landing Pipeline
Gladstone Area Water Board has proposed the extension of the existing raw water supply system into the Fisherman’s Landing Reclamation Area behind the existing Fisherman’s Landing berths, to provide a water supply to a proposed construction facility.
This project is for the installation, testing and commissioning of;
- 1400m of OD 450 HDPE PN 16 pipeline
- 1350 m of OD 315 HDPE Pn 16 above ground temporary pipeline
- 600m of OD 315mm HDPE PN 16 Pipeline
- Thrust boring, commissioning, testing and installation of inline fittings
The project was finished in September 2011 without any incidents, in challenging ground conditions and under critical time pressures.
